(USING THESE 5 STEPS)

Beginning the moment you open this up and apply it!

STEP #1--DETERMINE WHAT IT IS YOU WANT—Work backwards from there.

1. Cast the vision. Boil everything down so everyone understands and owns it.
2. Always leader oriented. Anything with more than one head is a freak!
3. Everyone must be positive about their leader.
4. Unity—a supportive core—internally, externally, and REALLY!
5. A working core group—willing & motivated people.

STEP #2--CALCULATE THE COST—Own it.

1. Growing pains are real—consider every pain from this moment forward; every disagreement; every difficulty a growing pain.
2. Comfort zones are a thing of the past—learn to enjoy taking a risk for the Lord.
3. Stretching to the limit is required—again and again.

STEP #3--ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT—is a way of life.

1. People need to be positive about everything.
2. Create an environment where people will invite people.
3. Find out from the people what you need to do or change so that they will feel comfortable inviting their friends.

STEP #4--CREATE A PRACTICAL AND EASILY UNDERSTOOD PLAN.

1. Snappy—everything needs to be snappy—lawn, shrubs, facility, bulletin, restrooms, music, sermon, programs, etc.
2. Prepared—everything you do should be practiced, rehearsed, and prepared.
3. Openness—synthesizing new people easily. Listen to new ideas. Try it out!

STEP #5--EVERYONE TARGETS 5 PEOPLE FOR THE LORD (EVERY YEAR).

1. Make a list.
2. Pray—fast and pray for these people.
3. Work this list like it is the most important thing you could do in your life.
