What are They Saying About You Behind Your Back? Minimize
Not long ago the telephone rang and it was another principal who wanted to get input from my wife concerning a person who had applied for a position at his school. She wasn't home so I politely asked if I should have Marceil call him back. Instead he said, "Maybe you can help me. Do you know ___________? " (I don't want to use the name).

The name of the person he mentioned is one of the most pompous, arrogant guys you will ever meet. I really don't know him personally I have just received the butt end of his arrogance one time at a football game. (He didn't know who I was and it didn't appear that he cared). Instead of bashing him I told the principal that I really didn't know the guy well enough to comment--BUT I SURE WANTED TO COMMENT! The whole thing scared me enough to write this article about it. This is what I learned:

1) We need to be nice to everybody. You never know when someone you don't even know will hold your future in their hands.

2) We should never look down on others. Every person has their own gifts to discover. Never look down on the guy popping popcorn at a home football game--he may have his own web site!

3) Everyone reaps what they sow. (I didn't invite this idea it comes from the the Big Book).
